We are lucky enough to have a great local jewelry designer keeping new necklaces and bracelets coming in. A very exclusive selection has been pouring in the last few months and we have promises of new creations and re stocks of this local artists work.
Our vinyl section will be growing in leaps and bounds with both new and used vinyl coming in almost daily!! Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa Goes Pink for PINKTOBER™The Bangles Showcard_22x28
TAMPA, Fla. – Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa adds a pop of pink this October in honor of Hard Rock International’s 13th annual PINKTOBER™ breast cancer awareness campaign. For the 2012 campaign Hard Rock has teamed up with international, female pop-duo Bananarama to raise awareness and funds for a cause that affects people across the globe. As 2012 PINKTOBER™ brand ambassadors, Bananarama will entertain fans and survivors at a special PINKTOBER™ concert at Hard Rock Cafe on Friday, October 5 at 9 p.m. Tickets go on sale on September 13 at 10 a.m.
“Everyone knows someone whose life has been affected by breast cancer,” said Sara Dallin, cofounder of Bananarama. “So when Hard Rock offered us the opportunity to take part in PINKTOBER™ and support a great cause in a fun way, we jumped at the chance.”
Best known for the chart topping singles including “Venus,” “Cruel Summer” and “I Heard a Rumor,” Bananarama will perform these and other hits in honor of PINK, while celebrating their 30th anniversary as the most successful female pop group in history. As the group turns 30, an age when breast cancer screening becomes increasingly critical, Bananarama is driving awareness to appeal to their fan base and beyond.

Through their 2011 PINKTOBER™ efforts, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino donated nearly $50,000 to help fund research for prevention and a cure for breast cancer. This year, they hope to raise even more funds.
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will donate proceeds from the sale of special limited-edition PINKTOBER™ merchandise to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation ®, the Caron Keating Foundation and select local charities worldwide. The special collection items are available now through October 31.
The resort will donate 25 percent of the proceeds from its “Get into Bed” PINKTOBER™ “Pink Sheets” guest room bookings to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation®. Guests can request to stay in the limited availability “Pink Sheets” rooms at no additional cost. In addition to having 25 percent of their room rate donated to BCRF, guests will also receive a complimentary commemorative Hard Rock pin. The select guestrooms will also be supplied with special collectible PINKTOBER™ bathrobes that can be purchased in the Seminole Hard Rock Retail Store, with a portion of the proceeds donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation®.
Additionally, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will be donating 75 percent of the retail purchase price of its limited edition collectible PINKTOBER™ Hard Rock pins ($12), 50 percent of the retail purchase price of its tote bag ($4) and 15 percent of the retail purchase price of its ladies pink T-shirts ($26); pink-hued guitar-embossed “Sleep Like A Rock” bedding sheet sets (queen $95, king $105); scarf ($21.99); bracelet $19.99); and pink robe ($80) to the cause. Special “Pink-tini” cocktails ($7.25) will be served in the casino’s Center and Lobby bars with partial proceeds also donated.
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is also gold sponsor of the 2012 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® at Vinoy Park in St. Petersburg, Fla., on Saturday, October 6. Team members will also participate in the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. During last year’s event, the resort was the largest corporate team and the top corporate team for fundraising. They boasted a team of 320 walkers and extended their involvement with a stage sponsorship at the event.

M83 is partnering with beloved footwear brand Converse to release a limited edition M83-inspired Chuck Taylor All Star sneaker to be sold exclusively at www.converse.com. As part of the collaboration, Converse is launching a design contest inspired by M83’s latest critically acclaimed album, Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming.
For the contest, fans are encouraged to submit original artwork inspired by the Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming album or any of its songs. Drawings, paintings and photography are all acceptable mediums for submissions, but they MUST be original works of art.

Jacob Jeffries Band is an American pop rock band from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Formed in 2006, the band consists of Jacob Jeffries (vocals, piano), Jimmy Powers (electric guitar, backing vocals) and several alternating members. With Jacob on lead vocals and keys, the talented quartet create a unique musical blend of piano-driven rock and roll described by Miami Herald/Metromix as “bursting with hook-filled melodies and dramatic, instantly likable vocals,” that grab at your soul and refuse to let go which, paired with the young songwriter’s surprisingly insightful lyrics keep audiences out of their seats and singing along show after show.
Jacob Jeffries, considers among his musical influences Ben Folds, The Beatles, Tom Petty, Gavin Degraw and Jellyfish. When asked about how The Beatles helped shape him as a musician and songwriter he explains, “they took simple concepts, simple musical and lyrical ideas, and made them so interesting to listen to and dissect; they made me want to write songs that would get trapped in peoples heads.”
The Jacob Jeffries Band was named 2008’s “Best Live Band & Best New Release” by the Broward-Pam Beach and Miami New Times, and were selected to perform in, and won the Florida Grammy Showcase. As the New York Times affirmed of the South Florida musician, “It’s going to take one little person like Jacob to open doors to all those other Jacobs down there.
